ServeFirst - Haven For Hope

We'll be serving lunch to the residents at Haven for Hope. Haven for Hope counts on volunteers to feed 58,000 homeless/in transition individuals!

Job Description: Assist with the preparation and serving of lunch meal for residents of Haven for Hope. Other kitchen duties include, but not limited to: All aspects of kitchen clean up e.g. dishwashing, sweeping, mopping.

Dress Code: Due to safety concerns all volunteers must wear close-toed shoes (no sandals or flip flops) and clothes appropriate to work in a kitchen environment.

Volunteers will also greet the residents as they arrive for their meals.

Notes: Upon arriving check in with the Shelter Guard at the main security office. You will be escorted to the kitchen where the chef will lead you in activities.

Children 10 and up are welcome but please make sure they are willing to stay focused and on task and serve during the event.
