To update you all- Within a one month span Evan got word that he would be heading up a new division within his company (a promotion to manager) which meant uprooting and moving to Houston. Then I began a job search and within a week interviewed, was offered a great job (only 10 miles from Evan's office...no more long commutes!!!), accepted, put in my two weeks, found a house to rent, a new school for Brooks, pack, and rent our house out in San Antonio. This decision came with a lot of growing pains but with every decision God seemed to have laid the path he wanted us to follow. We are now adjusted to our new lives here in Houston and have been able to enjoy God's good works. I apologize for not having the opportunity to individually say our goodbyes. Please know that we have loved the relationships that were built at Rockhills. Our experiences at Rochills have forever changed and motivated us as a family. Each one of you has a special place in my heart. I truly appreciate the impact that each one of you has had on me as a wife, mother, and woman. I wish nothing but the best for you all and your families. God Bless,
Jaynee
The group decided last Monday night that we have run our course and to take a break for the time being. If you have any new ideas please share them! We all enjoyed our time, but we have hit a period where only one or two people(but usually just one) are able to show up each week and that is a good sign that our season has come to a close. Mark your calendars for Feb 23rd, ladies night out!!!!
Revised Schedule:
January 23 - Chapters 13-15 (as planned for Jan 9th, see discussion posted below)
January 30 - Chapters 16-17
February 6: Chapter 18 and wrap up
If anyone in the group is interested in continuing beyond King's Cross, please let us know.
Whirlwind tour of three chapters tonight. Come even if you haven't read, we are getting to the good stuff. Palm Sunday, Last Supper, ahh, good times before we hit the cross.
SCHEDULE UPDATE!!!
Due to the busy season upon us, we will not be meeting again until January 9th. However, in the interest of completing the book (and because some people are beginning to feel like it is repetitive), we will be tackling Chapters 13-15 on the 9th.
Have a great holiday everyone!
Comment by Jan Hassler on December 12, 2011 at 1:01pm Thanks again for doing this, Tracy! Keep forgetting to tell you that there is another ladies group also using your great questions for this book! Susan Smith is leading it.

What is true sacrificial love? Come take a look tonight as we discuss Chapter 12, The Ransom.
Tonight we will take a moment from our Christmas preparations to center ourselves on Christ and in trying to avoid The Trap. See you there!
Tonight we will tackle "The Mountain" as we gather to explore chapter 10 of King's Cross.
I ASSUME that at least one person will not have read the chapter. :) Is this you? Then don't skip because you feel bad, I am counting on YOU to represent! Last week, I realized that insight taken from our own life experience and past studies, and not shaped by Tim Keller, is also valuable insight and we will all learn from each other!
