OK, so we saw John Carter, but it broke my rule for entertaining movies... there were too many "groups" to keep up with.  Human looking red guys, human looking blue guys, frog-frog-binks (like crossing Jar Jar with a frog) guys, dis-and-re-appearing snobby British bad dudes, earth dude.  If it's going to get complicated, put it on TV where I have a week in between episodes to confirm "what happened" with folks at work, like Lost. :-)

Atlas Shrugged...who's seen it and what do you think? True to the book?

Thanks for the heads up on 'Thor'! Wasn't sure if any of the kids could handle it :). Glad to hear Mads liked it!!

OK, Thor was great fun!  Great action, funny, just an enjoyable 2 hours.  Very little bad language (and that very mild), "violence" has no blood.  I took my 9 year old and was fine with her seeing it.

Anyone else interested in Sucker Punch?  I liked 300 and Watchmen, and think Sucker Punch looks like more of the same visual fun.

Watched a few "Post-Surgery" on Blu-Ray - Salt - OK, a female Bourne; Get Him To The Greek - not even funny, Hangover better; Knight & Day - cute, my 10 year old liked it, Despicable Me - great movie for kids and adults

True Grit is fantastic (but I would say no kids under 14 because it's really violent at one part).  The King's Speech was also quite good.

Nice Stephen! I'm tentatively looking forward to seeing Skyline, but it kinda looks like a combo of War of the Worlds and Independence Day.

Have my tickets for Harry Potter at 12:01am Friday Nov 19th. Sure I'm taking my wife to Vegas later on the 19th, but hey, this is important. :-)

Anyone interested in Predators? Seems like a fun summer movie. I could go Weds or Thurs nite this week (it's on @7:20 @ Palladium).

Furniture

We are looking to donate our living room furniture and are wondering if anyone knows of a family in need or a ministry that could use them. Thanks for any helpful info!
