Friends,

Thank you for praying for our family.

We have a praise! God has provided three new part-time servants to help on the tech team. Terry, from Seattle, recently took an early retirement from Boeing in order to serve in missions. She will be taking over issue tracking and testing for our development work in India. Greg, from Seattle, is unemployed and is available for a season to do research and consulting for projects to improve our systems. And, Ben from Fayetteville is giving his time in the office to handle desktop support and user training. This is a very timely answer to prayer as Malachi’s office mate leaves the office in a week to focus on support raising for his move to Thailand. We are excited for Malachi to have more time to focus on our new software development projects like he loves to do!

Malachi just completed a class about Hinduism and learned so much about this wonderful culture and ways we can bring the gospel to them without requiring them to leave their Hindu heritage. I had so many misconceptions and still have so much to learn. Please pray for us as we build friendships with our two friends from India and one from Nepal. We are going to a concert with them tonight and going with them to an banquet for the Indian Diwali festival next weekend. Please pray for our conversations and for an opportunity to read God’s word together.

Emily has been watching baby Boresah from Ghana for a couple weeks now. On her first day alone with Boresah, Grayson fell off a chair and hit his head, so we all took a fun trip to the doctor. Grayson is all better and has been a good helper with his new African friend. Please pray for lots of grace and for Boresah and his mommy to be showered with God’s love as we serve them.

November 29 is our next half day of prayer and we will be setting aside some time to pray for YOU! Please let us know specific ways we can be talking to our father for you.

We are thankful to be partnering with you in this journey!

-Malachi, Emily and Grayson

Yesterday was a difficult day for us because it was the day that our baby, Isaiah Hope, was to be born. We trust God's sovereignty in this, but it still hurts. We love you and it's comforting knowing we are not alone in this journey. The good news is the little baby from Ghana came home from the hospital today and it looks like Emily will be caring for him starting on Oct 18. Thank you for joining us in prayer. Please let us know how we can be praying for you too!

Hello friends, We would like to ask you to pray for us. Emily has developed a friendship with an international student from Ghana who gave birth to a 4lbs pre-mature baby a few days after she arrived in the US. Her husband cannot come here until she has proven herself in her studies. She starts classes on Oct 18 and will take 9 weeks of English classes before starting her graduate studies. We are praying for our role in helping her, and Emily is considering caring for this baby during this initial time. Please pray for discernment in this decision as we try to balance Emily's commitment to Grayson and to the Children's mobilization work that is kicking off this fall. We are also praying for some help from some people here to help caring for the baby a couple days a week and to help with rides. Emily is also planning a baby shower for her next week. Thank you! We love and miss you. Praying the transition to Churchill went well!

Hello Rockhills friends! Thank you for the way each of you has loved and supported us during this new season of our lives. We hope we can post updates and keep in touch with you a bit here. Our highlight the last couple weeks has been some relationships we have begun with some international students that just arrived for the school year. One student, Mary, arrived from Ghana. She is 6 months pregnant and is here all alone. Praising God for these opportunities to show His love to these students. Excited to hear any news from you too and ways we can be praying for you!

We are looking to donate our living room furniture and are wondering if anyone knows of a family in need or a ministry that could use them. Thanks for any helpful info!
