For those who haven't heard, after 16 years, Joanne's cancer has returned.  Surgery is set for this Thursday morning at 7:30 am.  We'd love to have our Rockhills Community praying with us through the process.  We're trusting God's faithfulness as he leads us!

On October 3-4, I will be riding my bike 150 miles along with 3500 other riders to raise money to help fight MS. 100% of the proceeds go to the MS Society. Please help fund this cause! Even a $10 donation helps. I will personally be riding for a friend of Rockhill's who has MS - Jenni.

So two weeks of transformation on my new eating regimen and working out with P90X is working! I met with Simon Toozoff, my nutritionist, yesterday to do my full weigh in and measurements. After two weeks, I've lost 5 pounds of fat and gained 1 pound of muscle. My body fat has gone from 42.4lbs to 37.1lbs. My body fat % is now down to 18.4%, that's down from 20.6%. My lean body mass has gone from 163.41 to 164.6, so I've gained over a pound of muscle in the first two weeks!

So day 2 was something called Plyometrics in the the P90X program. You don't wanna know. I just kept thinking, "what the stink am I doing?" along with "maybe Jesus will come back right now and I won't have to finish this!"
